About GraceFarewell
GraceFarewell is a funeral program maker for Christian services, and a sister product of ApprovaVisa.
Why we built it
Families usually make a funeral program in a day or two, between the funeral home and the church office, often in a word processor template that breaks as soon as the obituary runs long. Most programs follow the order of a church service the family already knows, yet every template starts empty.
So GraceFarewell starts from the church: pick the tradition and the usual order of service is already there, with hymns and readings to choose from, in a layout that holds its shape. You check a free proof, and pay once only if you download.
Where the church orders come from
Each order of service is a starting point. Your pastor or parish has the final say, and every item can be changed.

Hymns are printed in full only when their words were published in 1930 or earlier. Scripture is the King James Version. Catholic readings are named by citation; the parish proclaims them from the lectionary. The people in our examples are invented.
